There was a research study done that proved that guys are attracted to lavender scents, foody scents (especially pumpkin pie - isn't that weird?) and vanilla scents on a girl, but not mixed at the same time. A great vanilla smelling perfume is Jessica Simpson's Fancy or Dream Angels Heavenly from Victoria's Secret. People actually did a study on this! They found out that most guys like food smelling perfumes. Like cookies, sweet stuff and the favorite smell was vanilla. Also they said that many guys reacted to the smell of sweet peppermint! So ya you are right they mostly like sweet smells. But i am 14 and i have gotten many compliments from guys when i wear paris hilton by paris hilton. Its the one with the black and pink striped bottle. Their is actually a sex pheromone in the perfume that attracts guys. Also another really good kind of berry pie kind of smelling perfume is midnight fantasy by brittany spears. I swear everytime i wear that perfume i get tons of compliments on how yummy i smell:) But all just depends on what you like. If you are into more of cookie smelling perfume then i would go with a vanilla scent like vanilla oil from the body shop or try the pink sugar because it does smell very sweet and cookie like. It doest seem like it but the paris hilton and the brittany spears perfumes all smell amazing. They are also a lot cheaper than most of the other brands. Dont be turned off by who the perfume is by because they are great!

Btw im really obsessed with perfume and i love it i have about 30 bottles of perfume right now!
I bought this girl a bag from victoria secret and it came with perfume, im not sure the name (like i [pay attention lol but it came with the angel bag), but i love it. As a guy i prefer something light scented, but i dont like anything too common. You get tired of it, for example that creme pure seduction... dat was all my ex wore and it pissed me off

By the way I agree with dheeraj, perfumes smell awful! Plus I am allergic to them!
As a guy I can agree with the sweet food scents - vanilla, cookies, etc. - but not lavender, I think it smells too soapy. Anything sweet grabs my attention (including fruity scents, as long as they aren't too sharp).

if you absolutely must use it something fruity or the smell of flowers is best


this girl once smelled like orangey dish soap and thats about the strongest smell that has caught my attention (in a good way)
it all depends on the smeller!


but generally people like sweet smelling perfumes, such as vanilla or floral scents [which i hate, old lady smelling hehe]
