I recently was given a homemade door wreath for my apartment door. It is very beautiful except the woman who made it sprayed a very strong perfume on it. It is so strong, some neighbors on my apartment floor have complained to me about it. I have searched the web for solutions but have not come across any that would work on the wreath. I'm hoping someone here may have the answer short of tossing it down the garbage chute.How can I remove strong perfume scent from decorative door wreath?
Hang it outside for a while. Hopefully you have a place sheltered from the rain...a place that still gets air flow.
It might take up to a month, but airing it should do it.
