Yes, ethanol is used to blend with the fragrance.

Medical Note: DO NOT drinkIs alcohol a major ingredient in perfumes/scents??
I just drank a whole bottle and didnt even get a buzz, so I would have to say no on that one...
Usually...yes.

It helps the mixture vaporize and not sit on your skin in a puddle...or as a wet spot.
Yes. Try downing a bottle of Lacoste MEN.

You'll feel the tingle of half of Smirnoff's for about 50 times the price.
i think most perfumes do , but its not alot of alcohol

yes, perfumes contain alcohol.

Some people wear an essence - ie. Lavender or Vanilla, etc. I think you can get those from The Body Shop, etc. I'm not sure if those have much alcohol in them. They may be more of a scented oil.

HTH - trying to remember
yes and no

they do but its nto a major ingriedient
I know that a lot of perfumes do have an alcohol content. My understanding is that the lest expensive ones have the higher content.
Yep. ';Parfume'; is pure perfume, ';Eau de parfume'; is parfume watered down is alcohol, hence why it is cheaper.
