Can I use perfume or homemade scent in a candle?

I really want to try a new twist on some of my homemade candles, but I'm not really sure what's flammable or even if the scent needs to be in oil form. Is there any way I can make my own homemade scents, or make a candle with the scent of my favorite perfumes? Can I use perfume or homemade scent in a candle?
it should be ok but id light them out side in case they blow up heheCan I use perfume or homemade scent in a candle?
you know what you should do you should look on th internet and find out something about that or similar to that. that sound like a good ideal.
Yes. There is a story of one of the Dames of one of the Newport Mansions around the end of the 19th century. As it goes, she would frequently buy expensive perfume from France and put it in all the chandeliers (just before electric lights, they used candles) of the ballroom. As people danced, the scent would waft down in an intoxicating ambiance designed to stir up passions.
they sell concentrated sents to put in candles that give a better and long lasting sent then a homemade or perfume,,,they could catch fire
you cannot use perfumes in candles. most of them are flammable. do a search on the topic. i looked into making some candles once and found that it is very important to use only the right ingredients.
uuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh those are FLAMMABLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well perfume is flammable so i wouldnt try that.... you can always get the oil liquids that you light a candle underneath and heats the oil to smell

other than that you can do the candle warmer thing so that you dont have to burn the candle

you can make your own candles there are starter packs at a c moore and places like that who give instructions and let you know what you can use and what you cant
check out this Yahoo Group. But yes, you don't won't to use perfume in flammable products. Currently I'm using the ones in stores that are designed for oil burners. And most of them have scents that mimic colognes and perfumes.
If u use your perfumes. . .the alcohol in it will burn in a fiery blaze for about 2 seconds. Also, I doubt it would stick to the wax or gel u use to make candles.
you may catch fire
