How can I make the scent of my perfume last longer?

I mean on my body, without using any creams or anything. Any tips you'd feel like sharing would be great, thanks :) !!How can I make the scent of my perfume last longer?
Using it straight after a shower and applying it to key points such as the sides of the neck, inner elbows, under your arms and wrists helps.





Sometimes certain perfumes just don't last long. For example my 'Paris Hilton' one lasts all day but the others I picked up from a discount store (they smelt so nice though!) only last around an hour! I also tested the 'Sex and the City' one from a store on my wrists, but the smell seemed to have faded after two hours.





So the expensive ones TEND to last longer, but not necessarily. :)How can I make the scent of my perfume last longer?

i read once that applying perfume to the glands (used for lack of better word) in your neck where you can feel your pulse makes perfume last longer and puts out the scent much better
